About
The Placement Office’s role within the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing is to help allocate students to placements within NHS Trusts and Private, Independent & Voluntary Organisations (PIVOs) across the UK; primarily in the North West and the Republic of Ireland and also help set up and monitor the e-portfolios and evaluations attached to each placement. The Office is the point of contact for the mentors, Practice Education Facilitators (PEFs) and supervisors who are training our students out on placement.
The Office also support the students by offering guidance and advice on all placement related matters.
Cat's responsibilities include:
• Administrator of the placements for the BSc & MSc Diagnostic Radiography Programmes
• Administrator of the placements for the BSc & MSc Therapeutic Radiography Programmes
• Joint Administrator of the placements for the BSc & MSc Orthoptics Programmes
• Administrative support for the LiftUpp system
• Administrative support for InPlace & PARE systems
• Administrative support for the Practice Placements Expenses
