Teaching

I have >15 years of research-led teaching excellence, where I have taught various undergraduate lecture courses, laboratories, problem classes and tutorials. Since 2021, I teach the first-year "Introduction to Computational Physics", which I have integrated with the first-year laboratories, where I also demonstrate. In 2023, based on studies in my course, I published an educational research article in the Journal of STEM Education Research on “reducing anxiety and building confidence” in students learning computing.

At postgraduate level, I have taught courses from an "Introduction to C++ programming" to "The Dirac equation and Feynman diagrams". I have also supervised many BSc, MPHYS and PhD students.

I am the Departmental Disability Coordinator (DDC) since 2023, where I am responsible for ensuring inclusive teaching and tailored support for disabled students.
