Multiple Risk Assessment of Existing infrastructure with Ageing Effects

My research focuses on the risk, reliability, and resilience assessment of ageing steel infrastructure under Na-Tech (Natural-Technological) events using advanced finite element analysis. My recent work involved the seismic risk evaluation of typical petrochemical plants subjected to seismic actions in harsh atmospheric conditions, including the application of novel retrofitting approaches, such as base isolation systems. My research aims to enhance the understanding of ageing infrastructure behaviour under natural events, optimize natural hazard mitigation strategies, and develop more resilient and reliable design frameworks for critical industrial facilities.
