Public international law and international human rights law
Antal's research interests lie in the area of public International Law and international human rights law. In the past he has worked on international human rights law in areas beyond State territorial control, due diligence in international humanitarian law, the implementation of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and the interaction between the regimes of human rights law and other special regimes, such as international humanitarian law or jus ad bellum. He is currently working on third State responsibility with regard to serious breaches of international law.
Antal would be happy to supervise prospective LLB and LLM candidates with an interest in public international law and human rights protection.
