Amy Mook is a Doctoral Academic Teacher and PhD student within the Department of Psychology, at The University of Liverpool. She has expertise in children's social care and psychological wellbeing. Her primary research interests concern the long term health and wellbeing of mother and infant dyads undergoing residential parenting assessments as part of children's social care proceedings using a multi-method approach. She is also passionate about using her lived experience of foster care to improve the outcomes for children and young people living under local authority care through her research and public presence.
