Professional Activities

Dr Cahill-Ripley is a member of the Steering Group of the International Transformative Justice Network. She is a long-standing member of the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Academic Network UK and Ireland and the Law and Society Association (USA) Collaborative Research Network on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. In 2019 Dr Cahill-Ripley was appointed to the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights International Network (ESCR-Net) Advisory Group on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and Conflict. She also sits on the Academic Advisory Board of the Cambridge Centre for Palestine Studies.

She regularly provides expert opinions to international organisations and national governments as well as giving invited talks to NGOs and CSOs as well as at other academic institutions. She has undertaken a number of external examination roles for doctoral students and is an External Examiner for Law at Northumbria University.

Internally Dr Cahill-Ripley is the Director of Postgraduate Research for the Law dept. and Association of Human Rights Institutions Lead for the International Law and Human Rights Unit. She was previously Internationalisation Lead for the School and Department and Departmental Disability Contact for Law.
