About
I am an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Registrar. My research interests focus on the human endometrium and adenomyosis, with a particular emphasis on understanding and developing novel treatments for conditions causing heavy menstrual bleeding and chronic pelvic pain.
I completed my Medical degree and Masters of Research in Women's Health at the University of Liverpool in 2015. I began specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2017 and am a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. My academic journey includes a recently completed MRC-funded PhD investigating gene and protein expression in adenomyosis lesions and developing an in-vitro model of the condition.
I co-host a women's health podcast called 'Between 2 Ovaries', aiming to debunk myths and empower women with accurate knowledge about women's health, listen here: Between 2 Ovaries Podcast, and follow us on Instagram @Between2Ovaries
