About
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate currently working in the department of Infection Biology & Microbiomes. As an avid naturalist, I am interested in a broad range of research topics related to ecology, evolution, and epidemiology. My current research focuses on developing mechanistic models to better understand and predict the dynamics of heartwater - a tick-borne disease affecting livestock in Sub-Saharan Africa. I also conduct research on the impact of sex ratio distorting agents (e.g., male-killing bacteria and gene drives) on population ecology and adaptation rates in arthropods.
