About
Abdul-Rahman completed his undergraduate medical degree at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (PCMD) in 2015.
He went on to complete the competitive academic foundation training programme (AFP) within the East Midlands Deanery. As part of his academic commitments, Abdul-Rahman completed a postgraduate certificate in leadership for the health professions through the University of Swansea. He led multiple quality improvement projects within his Trust which were presented internationally and won awards in the field of improving patient safety.
Abdul-Rahman’s key clinical interest lie in the field of trauma and orthopaedics having completed his core surgical training throughout the East Midlands Deanery. This also entailed rotating through other surgical specialties which included: upper GI, vascular and paediatric surgery.
