My name is Dr Martyn Bradley and, as Director of Studies for Master in Management/MSc Management, I’m excited to welcome you all to the University of Liverpool.
Throughout the year we will have a host of interesting activities including opportunities to meet guest speakers, meet alumni, broaden your professional networks, a study trip, an employability trip and social evenings.
Here are my top tips for making the most of your time at the University of Liverpool:
- The more you put into your time here, the more you will get out of it. There are countless resources and opportunities available to you, make sure you get involved
- MSc Careers is a resource available to you as an MSc student. We are fortunate to have our very own careers team within our School and they will be a valuable source of information to you. Please attend the numerous employability events held in our enhancement weeks
- Your course becomes much more interesting when you really think about the topics you are covering and what they mean. This is also important, as you are now studying at a postgraduate level. Deep thought and critical analysis will help you delve into the complexities of the topics you engage with
- Maintain Commercial Awareness by accessing news sites such as BBC Business and Financial Times (you will have access to FT as a student of the University
- Be part of our community by connecting with your lecturers and our professional services staff. Consider becoming a student ambassador or a student representative.
