Your master's journey with the Management School is about to begin.

Congratulations on securing your place on one of our master’s programmes!

I look forward to welcoming you to campus in January, in the meantime, I would like to share some advice as you prepare to begin your studies with us.

If you are moving to Liverpool for the first time, or want to see what life is like on campus, then I would encourage you to take a look at the University’s Settling in pages which include virtual tours of campus and the city as well as information about our sports facilities, libraries and support services.

There are a number of planned activities and sessions taking place w/c Monday 20 January that we encourage you to attend. Please download our activity timetable here. The University of Liverpool will have a Refreshers Fair on Friday 31 January 2025. You are welcome to take part in this and explore the wider university offer.

I would encourage you to get involved in the wider postgraduate community during your time at the School.

As well as the many societies offered by the University’s Guild of Students, the Management School provides many extra-curricular activities such as the Enhance programme and the Master’s Consultancy Challenge and a range of careers and employability activities run by our dedicated, in-house MSc Careers team. These are all excellent ways to not only develop skills outside of your core studies but also to meet new people from other programmes across the School and the University.

Liverpool is an amazing city so go exploring, make new friends and above all make the most of this life-changing experience.
