2. Embrace the culture I.e. festivals, language, food etc.

Where did you go and why did you choose to study abroad?
I went to the City University of Hong Kong for a sesmeter. I chose the study abroad because it is a great opportunity to develop new skills and challenge yourself to a new environment.

What were your highlights of Studying Abroad?
I enjoyed meeting new friends from all around the world, and exploring Hong Kong. Learning in a different country was interesting and I picked up lots of different study styles.
What did you get up to on Study Abroad when you were not studying?
I joined the City University of Hong Kong swimming team. I also explored Hong Kong and its nearby areas as well as eating lots of tasty food.
What challenges did you face when Studying Abroad and how did you solve them?
I was on a year in industry. So, managing applications and interviews while abroad was quite difficult. The language Barrier was another difficulty
