The final day of the international study trip ended with a visit to GSIC powered by Microsoft. The intersection between technology, innovation and football is an area that any would-be football executive must not ignore and was showcased at the offices.
Guillermo Marin Díaz-Guardamino, Innovation Services Director, offered the students great insight into the range of innovations in sport and GISC's role in bringing different organisations together. The extent to which technology and innovation are and will continue to influence football and the fan experience was clear for FIMBA students to see.
And just like that, the FIMBA 2022/23 international study trip was over! The group made their way back to the University of Liverpool Management School campus and back to the Brett Building to continue their studies.
