Thursday was the penultimate day of the FIMBA 2023 trip to Madrid and students received presentations from executives and professionals.
The first talk of the day came from LaLiga’s José Moya Gómez and José M. Gotor who gave presentations on the economics of the central distribution of audio-visual rights and LaLiga's international development and provided FIMBA students with interesting and excellent insights.
This was followed by a trip to Getafe CF where Babis Siamoglou, Director of Methodology Youth Teams and Academy, gave a presentation and showed the FIMBA students how they engage in youth football development. Following Babis’ presentation, the students had a tour of the facilities including the stadium, the academy and the medical facilities.
Our students had the opportunity to discuss a range of issues with the medical staff and learn about a number of medical research studies focusing on youth football being conducted in conjunction with the club.
