Why did you decide to study an MBA?

I decided to take an MBA for multiple reasons. Ultimately, my goal is to boost my career and improve my managerial, leadership and innovative capabilities.

I also wanted to expose myself to new and different cultures, build knowledge and learn from my fellow MBA candidates.

What do you feel has been the most rewarding element of the programme?

So far, I consider the academic and teamwork skills I have developed to be the most rewarding elements of my MBA journey.

I also find the facilities and getting to know my fellow candidates with their particular and interesting backgrounds to be valuable aspects too.

What do you do when you are not studying?

When I’m not studying, I like to spend my time going to the gym, hanging out with my friends and cooking at my place.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of studying an MBA?

If you’re thinking of pursuing an MBA, I would advise you to develop strong English language skills and have a clear goal for studying this programme.

You must also deeply reflect on whether it is the perfect time to take this path, personally and professionally.

Why did you choose the Management School?

I picked the Management School because the triple-crown accreditation was a plus for me. The quality of the teaching and the subject areas also caught my attention.

What have you learned from the guest speakers so far?

Hearing from guest speakers, I have learned to appreciate different points of view on running a business and making business decisions.

What skills and knowledge do you feel you have developed?

I feel that I have built resilience and developed adaptability to change. In a lot of ways, I have also come to understand business strategies and how to apply them in the real world.

Learning from other businesses enabled me to gain new skills, perspectives and knowledge.

What aspects of the programme have you enjoyed the most?

The services provided around the programme are the aspects of the MBA that I enjoyed most. I value the fact that we’re not only developing our hard skills but also our soft skills.

For example, we did a ‘discovery test’ in which we tried to gain and develop a deep knowledge of ourselves.

What are you enjoying most about living in Liverpool?

The city of Liverpool is a hub for sports, and I’m such a big football fan so I enjoy watching Liverpool’s games in a pub or at the stadium.
