Flora Song graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a PhD degree in Marketing. Being particularly interested in sensory marketing research, Flora has multiple projects focusing on the dynamic visual preferences among individuals. In her research, she links fundamental theories to practical managerial decisions on the designs of logos, products, packaging, advertising, and marketing campaigns. At the same time, in her research, Flora endeavours to bring implications to consumers, which help enhance their physical and psychological health. She won the Research Early Career Award in 2023 and the Best Session Paper Award at the China Marketing International Conference in 2019. She has publications in Psychology & Marketing and invited resubmission to the Journal of Marketing.
