Graduate outcomes and rankings

As you embark on your journey after graduation, we invite you to stay connected with us. Your experiences and feedback are invaluable in shaping the future of our Management School. We will contact you from time to time to ask you to take part in various surveys so that we can continue to achieve excellence and ensure the success of our Management School for many years to come.

Graduate outcomes

Did you look at league tables, The Guardian University Guide or Prospects Career Guides to help you choose where and what to study? If you did, then Graduate Outcomes data would have helped you get where you are today.

Graduate Outcomes is a national survey capturing information about the activities and perspectives of graduates 15 months after finishing their studies. It helps understand employment, further study, and the impact of higher education on graduates' lives.

If you are a recent undergraduate graduate, 15 months after graduation you will receive an email or phone call asking you to complete a short survey about what you have gone on to achieve since completing your studies. Your valuable insights help us understand your needs and enhance the university experience for future generations. By taking part, you can also impact the reputation of your programme and increase the value of your University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) degree. You can find out more here.

Look out for survey invitations in your inbox – your feedback can truly shape the future of our community.

Financial Times survey and rankings

We take part in a number of surveys each year by organisations such as The Financial Times. The results of these surveys are used to rank business schools both internationally and nationally.

By taking part in these surveys, you can help ensure the future success of our programmes and allow us to attract the best and brightest students, researchers and corporate partners, and secure our place amongst the top business schools worldwide.

Each ranking requires the assistance of a particular cohort to fill in a very short survey about their experiences. Cohorts include:

  • Financial Times rankings survey graduates (campus MBA, campus MSc Finance, campus MSc Management and online MBA) from three years prior to the year of the survey
  • Sports Business rankings survey graduates (Football Industries MBA and MSc Sports Business & Management) from three years prior to the year of the survey
  • The School also conducts a careers survey for the most recent graduating class of each ranked programme using 12Twenty.

Without the assistance of our alumni, we will not be eligible to take part in the process, so please do help us by making sure your details are up-to-date and fill in the surveys when you see them.
