About

I am a veterinary academic, researcher and clinical educator, recognized as a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (FRCVS) and a Specialist in Equine Surgery (RCVS and European Board of Veterinary Specialists, EBVS). I am current Head of Veterinary Research and Professor of Equine Surgery at the University of Liverpool and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I am committed to advancing animal health and veterinary science through research, education and leadership and in promoting One Health approaches to help address current and future challenges in animal and human health.
