Cultural Mappings is a one-day workshop exploring the practical and theoretical role of digital mapping practices in the arts and humanities. Speakers from across a range of disciplines, including film, architecture, music, literature, digital humanities, archeology and performance studies, will demonstrate ways in which cartographic and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) resources are informing current research into space, place and cultural memory.
