The exhibition will display the research undertaken during the last three years on the Rock Garden, with a particular emphasis on the documentation research. Prior to this research project only limited plans of the garden were available. During the last three years extensive cataloguing and surveying has taken place enabling a fuller, more comprehensive understanding of the garden and its development.

The main content of the exhibition will be the survey drawings of the site, a QuickTime Virtual Reality Model and a short film shot on location at the garden. In addition to the documentation several sculptures produced in the Rock Garden and previously not exhibited, will also be shown along side other artefacts that help to explain the Rock Garden's story.

As well as drawing architectural surveys of the garden this research project has catalogued and photographed all the sculptures and natural rocks currently on permanent display. To accompany the exhibition the full catalogue will be displayed transporting the viewer into the depths of the garden and enabling for the first time the entire contents of the rock garden to be displayed outside of Chandigarh.

An exhibition catalogue will be available, more details to follow.
