From Aberdeen Press and Journal - Saturday 16 November 1996:
Two Rescued from Liferaft. Two crewmen were rescued from
a liferaft off the North Wales coast last night [15 November
1996] after their fishing vessel sank. Flares from the liferaft, north
of Llandudno, were spotted by a container vessel, the Atlantic
Conveyor, heading for Liverpool. An RAF Wessex helicopter from RAF
Valley on Anglesea and two lifeboats from Rhyl and Llandudno were
scrambled at 9:30pm, and the two crew of the Horizon, from Colwyn Bay,
were picked up an hour later. Both are said to be well.
