How is the Research Project assessed?

Your research project is worth two-points, in other words, 25% of the assessment in your final year.  It is assessed against a number of criteria.  These are used to mark a preliminary report outlining the research you intend to undertake, the way in which you carry out your project, a final talk presenting your findings towards the end of your research and a final written report on your project.

(Different assessment criteria are used in the Geography and Biology Joint Honours degree.)
