Can students in the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science take an intercalated B. Sc. in the School of Biological Sciences?

Suitably qualified students from these Faculties may enter an Honours Year in the School of Biological Sciences to study for a B. Sc. degree.  Clinical students have previously entered the Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology and Molecular Biology Honours Schools.

You should consult with the Director of the Honours School about the exact qualifications and standards required well in advance.  You may need to take particular Special Study Modules (SSMs).

Please note that that School of Biological Sciences does not offer  M. Sc. degrees that are suitable for intercalation.
