Your E-Recruitment account
All applications must be made through the University of Liverpool Recruitment Portal. Below you will find guidance on how to register, how to manage your E-Recruitment account and how to apply for a vacancy:
Once you have registered for your E-Recruitment account, you will be able to:
- view and apply for any of our vacancies
- review any applications previously submitted through the portal
- manage your account.
Closing dates
It is important to take note of the closing date which appears in every job advert. This is the last date that we can accept applications for a vacancy. Vacancies will automatically close at 23:30GMT.
Application limits – Posts may close earlier
Some posts attract a high volume of applications; therefore, the University may close a post early if it is deemed that there are enough applications for the vacancy.
What happens next?
Shortlisting and interview
Shortlisting and interview arrangements are normally the responsibility of the Department in which the post is based. For the majority of vacancies, the interview date should be shown in the job details.
If you have any queries about these arrangements, please get in touch with the person named in the job advert as the contact for enquiries after the closing date.
Outcome of applications
Vacancies at the University of Liverpool often attract large numbers of candidates, and it is not always possible to respond individually to every applicant. If you have not heard from the department concerned within a reasonable period after the closing date, please take it that your application has not been successful.
