If you’re joining us as an international student, make sure you’re prepared for coming to Liverpool with our pre-arrival activities. We also hold a range of events when you arrive on campus to help you settle in.

Before you arrive

Ensure that your visa and other documentation are in order. Find all the information you need about visas and immigration.

Join our Get Ready for Liverpool webinars. This series of live, interactive sessions provides useful content that will help you prepare for joining us. You can register to watch them live or on-demand.

On your arrival

Once you arrive in Liverpool, you will need to complete your International Registration on campus. We’ll send you an email with more information about this before you arrive, which will include a link to book a slot to meet with our teams.

After you arrive - Welcome Week

During your first few weeks our International Advice and Guidance Team (IAG) host Hello International! (Hi!), a series of events specifically for international students. Sessions will help you find out more about the support and opportunities available to you as an international student, and learn more on key topics such as budgeting and working part time alongside your studies.

All Welcome activities will help you to settle in quickly and feel at home in Liverpool, meet new friends and ensure you make the most of your time here and enjoy your Liverpool student experience.
