Burton Mere Wetlands is a pocket of unspoiled wilderness in the Dee Estuary, a nature reserve in Wales just south of Liverpool. This is an excellent getaway to relax, do some birdwatching, and explore the trails. The trails can be muddy so bring a coat and a pair of shoes you don’t mind getting dirty! We recommend bringing a pair of binoculars if you have them; but they can be hired from the visitor centre. Halls exclusive: Note: This event is for students in UoL halls (Dover, Crown, Philharmonic, Tudor, Vine, Melville, Greenbank) and certain private halls only.
