Veterinary Science BVSc - How to apply

All applications are made through UCAS; with an early deadline for applications of 15 October 2024. All applicants who meet our academic and work experience criteria will be invited for interview.

Foundation to Human and Animal Health Professions

A year zero foundation programme, designed for mature students who have typically been out of formal education for some time or who have taken non-traditional qualifications, which leads to access onto a Veterinary Science BVSc programme.

Veterinary conservation medicine intercalated honours BSc

A one-year intercalated BSc honours degree in Veterinary Conservation Medicine, specifically designed for veterinary undergraduate students with an interest in conservation.

Undergraduate research opportunities

Research is an important part of our undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. Our training equips our students with the skills to be able to critically appraise the scientific literature and utilise this as part of evidence-based veterinary medicine throughout your veterinary career.

Intercalation opportunities

We offer all students the opportunity to develop their careers by earning an additional degree during their time at University. This involves taking an extra year of study and gives students the opportunities to enhance research skills with research or taught Masters intercalation options, or to study in an area of interest with undergraduate intercalation options.
