Applicant Discovery Activities
Applicant Discovery Activities are a unique series of events designed to give our offer holders a thorough understanding of what to expect from their chosen subject area, plus a sneak peek into student life at Liverpool.
All prospective students who have an offer to begin their studies with us in September 2024 will receive an email inviting them to book their Applicant Discovery Activities.
In-person Applicant Discovery Days
These take place between February and May - please check your invite email for specific dates. These days include structured subject activity within academic departments, as well as drop-in Student Experience Activities. Student Experience activities include accommodation and campus tours, as well as opportunities to find out more about careers, student services, Sport Liverpool, Global Opportunities and the Guild of Students.
Guests
Deciding where to go to university is a huge decision, so we understand that you're likely to bring a family member or friend along with you. Guests are limited for academic activity, however additional guests are welcome for the Student Experience Activities. Please note, some activity for Medicine, Health Sciences and Veterinary Science is limited to offer holders only and a waiting room is provided for guests. Please check your invitation email for more details.
Accommodation tours
On Applicant Discovery Days, you will have the opportunity to tour our city centre accommodation and Greenbank Student Village. Once registered, you will receive a link to book accommodation tours two weeks prior to the event. Spaces on these tours are limited, so please ensure you book your place before visiting us. If tours become fully booked, there will be a limited number of places available on the day.
Carmel College Foundation Programme Offer Holders (Sciences and Engineering)
There will be dedicated Carmel College Foundation Course Applicant Discovery Days, which have a different format to the events above. After spending time at the University of Liverpool campus meeting your subject academics, touring the campus and finding out about student life, you’ll have the opportunity to visit to Carmel College. Look out for an invitation email with more details.
Online Discovery Week
Taking place in April, Online Discovery Week features live Q&As with staff and students, as well as presentations on important topics such as student support, finance, careers, societies, and accommodation. Please check your invite email for specific dates.
Undergraduate on-demand pages
With our on-demand content you can enhance your knowledge of the University and your course by viewing videos from all or subject areas and speaking to current students via our online chat, who will be available to answer any questions you may have.
