Dominic Ventre is an experienced professional with over 20 years of dedicated service in Higher Education. His expertise lies in enhancing the student experience and providing support across various professional services and academic departments. Dominic has successfully contributed to projects like the Student Records System and Student Data Systems Programmes, showcasing his ability to navigate complex challenges and large change programmes. Dominic is committed to improving staff and student experiences using digital tools to support student success and making a positive impact on students and staff.
Emma Carter-Brown is Head of Education and Student Experience for the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and has been working at UoL for 6 years. Prior to that, she spent 9 years at the University of Manchester, ultimately as Deputy Head of Operations and Head of Admissions of a school. She switched to a career in HE management mid-career, starting as an administrative assistant at the University of Salford, after almost a decade of Customer Service leadership in the private sector. She is particularly passionate about student welfare and support, and her guilty pleasure is regulatory compliance.
