About me
As the Academy's Researcher Development Coordinator, a pivotal role within the Researcher Development and Culture team, I organise complex activities to ensure our team's initiatives run smoothly, fostering strong relationships with both internal University colleagues and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Researcher Development and Culture, I coordinate and administer researcher development activities and provide essential support for events, meetings, and governance processes. I facilitate the delivery of the researcher development portfolio, acting as a primary point of contact for partners and stakeholders. I also maintain the researcher development webpages and uphold University policies.
My professional journey includes diverse experiences, having previously worked at National Museums Liverpool and in the private financial sector. Since 2019, my tenure at the University has been marked by progressive roles, commencing as an Academy Administrator and advancing to the position of Academy Administrator (Academic Programmes) in 2022. In 2023, I proudly joined the Researcher Development and Culture team as a Researcher Development Co-ordinator.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an ardent historian and a dedicated volunteer with the Marine Society & Sea Cadets, contributing as an Adult Instructor for over 16 years. This commitment to service was recognised when I was honoured with the 'Volunteer of the Year' award at the 2022 Staff Awards at the University of Liverpool.
