Summary
Kerri Hill-Cawthorne is the Programme Manager for the David Price Evans Group in Infectious Diseases and Global Health, working alongside Professor Alison Holmes OBE and Ms Juliet Allibone-Tate. The research focus of the group is on antimicrobial optimisation and the prevention and management of infectious diseases.

From May 2023, Kerri will be taking up a new role as Head of Operations of the Wellcome Trust-funded Centres for Antimicrobial Optimisation Network (CAMO-NetCAMO-Net).

Background
Kerri has over 10 years experience in management, leadership and administration, with over 5 years experience managing large multi-partner, interdisciplinary research programmes funded by UKRI, NIHR and the Wellcome Trust. For the past 5 years she has been the Research Facilitator at the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance at Imperial College as well as Business Manager for the Centre for Antimicrobial Optimisation at Imperial, a post which she still retains on a part-time basis. Prior to being at Imperial, she worked as Programme Manager for the Marie Bashir Institute for Infectious Diseases and Biosecurity as well as Education Innovation Manager for the School of Public Health, both at the University of Sydney. She has also worked as a Financial Officer for Fairfax County Government (county council) in the United States.

Kerri has a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Leadership Studies from Christopher Newport University (US) and a Master of International Public Health from the University of Sydney.
