Personal Statement
Ganesh Paul is an Academic Clinical Fellow in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine at the University of Liverpool currently working in the David Price Evans Group. Ganesh previously completed the Academic Foundation Programme in research and medical education at The Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Lancaster University.
Graduating from UCL in 2021 with full academic and sporting colours, Ganesh initially developed an interest in research and infectious diseases when completing an intercalated Master’s in Control of Infectious Diseases from LSHTM which included three months in Surabaya, Indonesia.
During foundation training Ganesh was awarded Associate Lecturer and Academic Assessor status at Lancaster University and was awarded regional prizes for Outstanding Contribution to Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching.
