About
I attained my BSc(Hons) in Biomedical Science from the University of Essex in 2012 and subsequently went on to complete my PhD in Microbial genomics at the University of Liverpool in 2016. My research looked at wood eating termites, both higher and lower lineages and their gut consortia with a focus on the roles of Spirochetes. I currently work for the VEuPathDB project – Eukaryotic pathogen, vector and host informatics resources, a collaboration spanning both sides of the Atlantic. Here I am part of the Curation and Annotation team, supporting community and professional curatorial activity.
