I graduated with a degree in Environmental Science and Geography from the University of Liverpool (1993) and was awarded a PhD in Evolution and Ecology by the University of Liverpool (2016). I have worked in HE ever since, initially in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Liverpool Hope University and more recently at the University of Liverpool. I am a lifelong birder and have travelled all over the planet to see them.
