Activities for schools

We regularly give talks in schools across Merseyside about future study and careers in science. We also offer tours to school groups of our cutting-edge lab facilities, and hands-on research activities that can be delivered on campus or in school.

Merseyside Young Life Scientists

Merseyside Young Health and Life Scientists (MYHLS) is a rolling three-year programme of health-related activities and support for young people in Years 9-11 who are from under-represented groups and have the potential and interest in studying health and life sciences subjects at university.

Public and patient involvement

Our public and patient involvement panels provide the means for open collaboration between researchers and members of the public. Panels are open to anyone with first hand or family experience of a range of health conditions we're studying, to help influence and drive future research.

Public engagement

We welcome interest in our science and encourage participation in our public events, including Meet the Scientists, delivered in partnership with the Liverpool World Museum. There are a range of scientific activities available for all ages, open to anyone to get involved.
