Free event showcases ‘Biomaterials for the Future’
Researchers from the University of Liverpool are taking part in an event sharing developments and best practice on providing new materials in a sustainable manner, to meet the needs of an aging and ever-growing population.
A major research challenge of our time, high value materials are now being developed using an interdisciplinary approach, to meet future biomaterial, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine needs, with the potential to revolutionise future medical practice.
The event involves a series of world-expert speakers, who will showcase key issues and provide insight into how new research is providing diverse material solutions, such as nano-medicines, stem cell therapies, and high performing next generation medical implants. Delegates will include academics, University alumni, industry partners, and civic leaders.
'Focus on Biomaterials for the Future' takes place in Liverpool’s Arena and Convention Centre (ACC) on Monday 1st September from 15:30pm to 19:30pm.
