Accessibility and environmental improvement works: Dover Street
From Monday, 27 March works there will be restricted public access to the footpath along Dover Street from Pembroke Street to Brownlow Street. This is to allow a new accessibility ramp and footpath improvement works to be undertaken within the external courtyard area.
During this period a new hoarding will be erected which will block the current pedestrian footpath. As illustrated in the image below, diversion signage will be in place.
The works of this first phase are scheduled to take place until Friday, 7 April.
For phase two of the works, access along Dover Street from Pembroke Street to Brownlow Street will reopen, with an alternative route around the new Project hoardings. During this period the new shorter footpath will be constructed within the hoarding.
During Phase one, ten planters will also be installed for use by the “Sowing the Seeds of Sustainability” group.
FRCS apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks colleagues for their patience as it undertakes this essential work to maintain the buildings on campus.
