About the event
Join us for a guided tour of the Central Teaching Labs and learn about our sustainability action on Wednesday 28th February, 2-4pm as part of Sustainability Week 2024.
LEAF (Laboratory Efficiency and Assessment Framework) is a green initiative developed by University College London (UCL) to improve the sustainability and efficiency of laboratories, technical workspaces including workshops, studios and galleries. LEAF contains actions which lab users can take to save plastics, water, energy and other resources. By taking part in the programme, laboratories and other workspaces can reduce their carbon emissions and create an environment that supports research quality.
We will take you on a tour of our Central teaching labs and discuss the framework with you showing you how easily you can make you lab practices more sustainable.
There will be a photographer on site taking pictures at this week's events. If you do NOT want your photograph to be used in future marketing materials please contact us at sustainability@liverpool.ac.uk. You may withdraw your consent at any stage in the future, however this will not apply retrospectively to material already in circulation.
