About the event
Professor Ric Williams, Chair in Ocean and Climate Science and co-lead of the University of Liverpool’s Climate Futures Research theme, will host a COP28 briefing to consider the science around climate change and the UK progress in reducing carbon emissions as part of Sustainability Week 2024. Professor of Karl Whittle will provide an overview of the implications of climate change on the energy industry and discuss some of the key energy proposals that were put forward by the negotiations at COP28.
There will be a photographer on site taking pictures at this week's events. If you do NOT want your photograph to be used in future marketing materials please contact us at sustainability@liverpool.ac.uk. You may withdraw your consent at any stage in the future, however this will not apply retrospectively to material already in circulation.

Click on "Create a calendar file" and your browser will download a .ics file for this event.

Apple Calendar: The file may open automatically with an option to save it to your calendar. If not, download the file, then you can either drag it to Calendar or import the file by going to File >Import > Import and choosing the .ics file.
