Management School awards
A range of scholarships and awards are available to help cover the cost of tuition fees on MSc and MBA master's courses in the Management School (ULMS).
If you’re joining an MSc or MBA in the Management School from September 2024, you could be eligible to receive a tuition fee discount of up to £5,000 through the University’s new Advancement Scholarships.

Tuition fee discounts for eligible MSc and MBA students in the Management School are also available through a variety of ULMS scholarships and awards. You can find out more about each of the awards available for academic year 2024/25 below.
Where the total discount value is less than 50%, you may be able to combine ULMS awards, including with Advancement Scholarships and other scholarships and bursaries for master's students. The maximum tuition fee discount if you're combining awards is 50%, although some individual awards, which can't be combined, exceed this threshold.
There's no application process for most ULMS scholarships. If you're eligible, you'll be assessed automatically, once the offer of a place has been made. This excludes the Kick It Out Scholarship which has a competitive application process.
Applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis so an early programme application is advised.
ULMS Excellence Scholarship
If you're joining an MSc in the Management School, you could receive 50% off your tuition fees. The scholarship is awarded based on your academic excellence, CV and personal statement.
ULMS Attainment Award
If you're a UK or Republic of Ireland student with a first class degree, or equivalent, you could receive £2,000 off your tuition fees if you join an MSc in the Management School.
ULMS Progress to Postgraduate Award
Progress from a current University of Liverpool degree, in any subject, to study an MSc in the Management School and you could receive a tuition fee discount of £1,000.
ULMS MBA Excellence Scholarship
If you're an MBA offer holder, with four or more years of professional or managerial experience and a strong academic background, you could be eligible for a discount of up to 75% off your tuition fees.
ULMS Women in Football Scholarship
If you're a female joining our Football Industries MBA, with three or more years of professional or managerial experience and a strong academic background, you could be eligible to receive 50% off your tuition fees.
ULMS MBA Latin American Excellence Scholarship
If you're an MBA offer holder from a Latin-American country, with five or more years of professional or managerial experience and a strong academic background, you could be eligible for 50% off your tuition fees.
The Kick It Out Scholarship
If you're a UK student from an under-represented ethnic group and you're joining our Football Industries MBA, you could apply for a scholarship covering the full cost of your tuition fees (£25,950 for academic year 2024/25).
Advancement Scholarships
If you're starting a Management School MSc or MBA from September 2024, you could be eligible to receive a tuition fee discount of up to £5,000 with our new Advancement Scholarships. You can combine this discount with most Management School awards up to a maximum tuition fee discount of 50%.
