Welcome from the International Advice and Guidance Team (IAG) to all of our new international students. Find out everything you need to know as a new international student at the University of Liverpool and what support the University can offer.

'Staying Safe Online' by Merseyside Police Cyber Crime Unit, Monday, 16th September 2024, 11am, Lecture Theatre A, Central Teaching Hub

This session will be presented by Merseyside Police and their Cyber Crime Unit. It will cover knowledge of online safety and cyber security for university students including awareness of your digital footprint, the use of public wi-fi, how to self-check if accounts or passwords have been hacked and will tell you how to avoid and report online scams.

Come along to get some informal tips on perfecting your English language skills as well as meet staff from our English Language Centre to hear about our in-sessional services available to help you alongside your studies.

Presented jointly by IAG and the University Careers and Employability Service, this session will tell you everything you need to know about finding part-time work in the UK alongside your studies.

Want to know how to make your money go further? Come along to find out some local money-saving tips and ideas on how to manage your money without reducing your experience of being in the UK. There will also be a chance to ask any questions on the best way to spend your money.

'Meet Your Student Ambassadors', Friday, 20th September 2024, 10am, Lecture Theatre A, Central Teaching Hub

Come along to this informal meeting to meet some of our international student ambassadors as well as other new students. You will get the chance to ask our ambassadors lots of questions and hear their top tips as well as share your tips with other students.
