What is Sexual Misconduct?

How to Report
You can report any incident to the University through Report + Support. Once you make a report a wellbeing advisor will contact you and discuss reporting options with you. All information will be treated sensitively and confidentially.
If the perpetrator is another member of the university community you can make a complaint that will trigger an investigation. Further information on the University's complaints process is available on the student complaints policy and procedure page. You can speak to a wellbeing advisor about this option. Wellbeing Advisors can also assist you with other options to support you to make the best decision for your situation. Options could include how to make a report to the police and signposting information to local organisation who could offer more specialised support e.g. SAFE Place Merseyside, RASA
If you don’t want to make a formal report or to make a complaint you can still provide anonymous information through Report + Support. This information is still useful because it can alert us to an issue that we may be able to address.
The Report + Support webpages also include a series of support articles and advice for people who are experiencing any of the issues identified above or who are supporting someone else who has.
