You may be able to get free eye test vouchers and support towards glasses or contact lenses from the NHS if you fall into one of the following categories:
- Aged under 16, over 60, or 16-18 and in full time education
- Registered as partially sighted or blind
- Diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma
- At risk of developing glaucoma
- On income support or Jobseekers Allowance
You’ll also be able to get free or discounted eye tests and optical vouchers if you are registered with the NHS Low Income Scheme.
