Local and commuter students

We welcome people from across the UK and the wider world to come to Liverpool and study. And while most of our students will choose to live on or near campus, we know that’s not the case for everyone. Many students choose to live locally or commute. These students are a vital part of our community.

If you’re considering applying for university but don’t want to live on campus, you can still enjoy the full university experience. We value our commuting and local students and ensure there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved and study by travelling to campus.
