A simple way to register your attendance

Registering your attendance is easy and you can do it via a browser, or the timetable app.

In order to complete the student attendance registration process, you will need access to your University timetable either via the timetable app (iOS or Android) or online.

How to register your attendance

At the beginning of your timetabled activity – whether it's an on-campus or a live online session - your session lead will share a unique six-digit code with the class. You will need to add this code to your timetable to ensure your attendance is recorded.

To do this:

  • Log in to the web or mobile timetables app using your MWS University username (username@liverpool.ac.uk) and password
  • Select the session you want to register your attendance for
  • Tap the Register your attendance button
  • Type in the unique six-digit code shared by your session lead
  • Tap Register
  • Your attendance at that session will now be recorded.

Do not share an attendance code with students who haven’t attended a particular session. Falsifying attendance records will stop us from being able to identify which students may need additional support in their studies and it may constitute misconduct.

For further information, please read the policy on student conduct and discipline.

What to do if you are unable to register your attendance

If you are unable to register your attendance for example, if you have forgotten your mobile phone, you should speak to the session lead and ask them to update your attendance status on the roster. If this isn’t possible, you should contact your Student Experience Team as soon as possible.
