Wyncote Sports Ground

Wyncote sports grounds are amongst the best in any UK University, with nine grass pitches, one hockey pitch, one full-size 3G football pitch and one 3G rugby training area.

Access to parts of the sports grounds is currently limited due to on-going refurbishment works. Please contact the main reception for further details.

Football Pitches

Nine grass football pitches are spread over two locations: Wyncote and Greenbank. The pitches at Greenbank are reserved for students only and are used for the Campus League.

We also have a full-size 3G pitch at Wyncote which our student clubs train and play on during the week.

Rugby pitches

We have three grass rugby pitches and a 3G rugby training area available for hire.

Artificial hockey pitches

Wyncote Sports Ground is home to a full-size, artificial floodlit hockey pitch. The pitch is suitable for Hockey, 5-a-side football and 11-a-side football.

Lacrosse pitches

Sport Liverpool offers two outdoor Lacrosse pitches that are available to book all year round, weather permitting.

Meeting rooms

Book one of our meeting rooms for your next training course. Both rooms are available to the general public, with reduced rates for university staff and students.
