Windsurfing
Welcome to the University of Liverpool Windsurfing club!
We are one of the largest university windsurfing clubs in the country and we are inclusive to all windsurfing abilities. Whether you’re a complete beginner who has never stepped on a board, or if you're attempting your first Vulcan, you're in the right place.
Competitive
We are part of the Student Windsurfing Association (SWA), which holds events across the country including our own event 'Northern Monkey'. As a member you'll be able to travel across the country taking part in races, training and social events.
Training Times
Saturdays and Sundays.
Social Sports
Depending on conditions, we aim to run training sessions every week at the Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre led by our RYA-qualified instructors. We can provide all equipment needed to participate free of charge for Athletic Union (AU) members.
Social Events
Socials are vital for our club, as every year we aim to form a tight bond, like a small family away from home. We have weekly socials, which can range from cheese and wine nights to face mask socials and everything in between. These are always a great way to find new friends and join our little family. We also take part in the monthly AU nights, where we always aim to be the best-dressed club.
