Water polo
Welcome to the University Water polo team
The University of Liverpool Water polo club is a great place for beginners or those wishing to compete at the highest level. We pride ourselves on our performances in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) league, as well as our regular socials. We are a performance sport at the University of Liverpool with members playing for Wales, England and other Nations.
Competitive
The University Water Polo club consists of four teams, with all teams competing in BUCS. Both Men’s and Women’s 1sts compete at the highest regional level (league 1A) and both Men’s and Women’s 2nds competing in league 2A.
All teams train three times a week at the Sports and Fitness Centre. This includes friendly fixtures and mixed-gender training sessions.
