Women's Rugby League
Welcome to the University Women's Rugby League team
Our rugby team allows you to make your time at university memorable, offering you the chance to get fit and have a great time. Women’s Rugby League allows you to do this by having regular fixtures in an amateur winter league, weekly socials and the opportunity to make amazing friends.
Competitive
We train twice a week on the 3G pitch at Wyncote Sports Grounds, and game day is Sunday.
Tuesday - 6.40-8pm
Wednesday - 4.45-5.45pm
Training consists of fitness, skills and tactics as well as friendly games amongst the team securing our strong team spirit. Although we train hard and are committed to the sport there is a lot of room for light-hearted games.
Social events
We have many socials throughout the year, with a monthly fancy dress for AU night. More details about these socials will be given as the year goes on.
