Handball
Welcome to the University of Liverpool Handball team
The Liverpool University Handball Club was founded in March 2011. We even have an amazing coach who has been with us for 7 years, with experience training with the Liverpool Handball club and the u19’s and u16’s GB Teams.
Competitive
As one of BUCS’ newest sports this year it will mean more regular games and more funding for our players, which is something our teams and coaches are super excited for! In previous years, we have played in matches arranged outside of the University (usually once a month) and we also participate in handball tournaments such as Uni Champs and the Christie Cup.
Social event
Our socials are not only going out to the AU nights, but as a club, we also like to host movie nights usually with a delicious takeaway. It allows us to get to know one another off-court which in turn helps our relationships on the court, improving our overall performance as a team.
